History
In 1910 the grandfather Nikolaos Kantikos creates the first olive mill of the family in Agios Lavrentios of Pelion in Central Greece. A picturesque village perched on the beautiful mountain of Centaurs in a vast olive grove.
During the difficult times of 1940, he came to his son Dimitrios Kandikos, offering extra virgin olive oil to the inhabitants of the neighboring areas. Until 1975 it operated under the name Dimitrios Kantikos of Nikolaos while in 1976 Nikolaos Kantikos continued its operation as a successor as a private unit (olive mill) meeting all the necessary specifications.
In 2003, after many years of experience and specialization in the field of production, it was transformed into a Societe Anonyme with the entry of Dimitris Kantikos successor of the fourth generation, expanding its activities and including certification, olive oil standardization and export in bulk.
